As a fourth generation impressionist, a member of The Oil Painters of America and The American Watercolor Society, I have been painting and exhibiting my work for over fourty years. Capturing in vibrant colors and compositions, scenes from New England, The Amalfi Coast, Tuscany, The Caribbean, Alaska and Florida. I work in both large format oils and watercolors. Many of my pieces created are sight specific commissions that bring together you or your interior designer's concepts for home or office.

***Something New*** Illuminated Works on Gold
In September '08 I self published a hard bound book about my family: Feast or Famine –Growing up Bohemian In Provincetown - conveying a daughters sadness as her mother slowly loses the ability to breathe and to remember, while the humorous short stories and illustrations of a loving and zany artist family are ever up-lifting. This book becomes a vehicle in which the entire family travels back in time to help their mother remember her bohemian past, and what makes this book so memorable, is that we are allowed to go there as well. Over 120 sketches, paintings, illustrations, and photographs from John Whorf, Nancy Whorf and Julia Whorf Kelly lend visual reference to the dynamics of creativity found in this family.

THE RECENT PAST
With renewed inspiration, rich light and intimate visual stories, I revisited through paintings of the Amalfi Coast and Vernazza in Italy. Some of these new watercolors and well as large oils, are still available. With an intense interest, I'm still madly in love with Italy, and continue to work in watercolors, both small and large oils from sketches and photography.
From New England to Italy, Florida, The Caribbean and most recently Alaska and British Colombia or children's books to still lifes, my true passion for color is always a large part of my lifestyle.
